While she may have once been well-kept and friendly, her current state gives off an impression that she has long since forgone her innocence. Bullet scars and laser burns cover her body from head to toe, her fluff matted and tangled with dried blood, clearly not her own. Her expression rarely changes from a thousand yard stare, and yet when she speaks to someone her eyes focus on them with such intensity it often makes people flinch. Her left shoulder in particular seems mangled, chitin cracked and healed over messily, as if she had repeated, consistent trauma to that one area. If one were to check her pockets, they'd find a faded polaroid with an image almost too different to recognize from the moth holding it: a picture of her in the middle, unscarred and smiling, encircled in a hug by a large reptilian with features that look adapted to aquatic environments, and a smaller human girl with mousey brown hair and large round glasses. Written on the photo is "Keels, Sarah, Amber, Uriam III holiday." The face of the girl is more faded than the rest of the photograph, as if it had been thumbed over frequently.
