Admeming Policy

Admeme (light, subtle admin-driven humor or intervention) is permitted, but must be used sparingly and with strong situational awareness.

• Targeting: Admeme should only be directed at players who appear, to the best of your judgment, to be idle or between tasks. Avoid interrupting active gameplay.
• Active Gameplay Restrictions: Do not admeme players who are engaged in meaningful in-character activity, including but not limited to:
  • Ongoing conflicts (e.g., Wayfarer vs. Outlaw interactions)
  • Medical or rescue situations
  • High-attention or high-stakes scenarios
  • Roleplay Scenes between players in "private areas"
• Game Balance & Economy: Admeme must never materially impact game balance or the in-game economy. This includes avoiding actions such as spawning large sums of spesos (except for corrective purposes), granting powerful or "end-game" items, or otherwise giving players an advantage that could meaningfully alter progression or outcomes.
• Player Consent: Admeme is strictly prohibited on any player who has explicitly opted out via preferences or consent settings.
• Judgment & Moderation: Admins are expected to use sound judgment. When in doubt, do not admeme. The goal is to enhance the experience, not disrupt or distract from it.

Admin Logging

If an admin plans on admeming. Drop a mention of what you're doing in the "admeme-log" discord channel. This helps keep everyone on the same page, and acts as a reference to future admins of what is "okay".

Other Mentions

• Special Event Admeming. If you want to plan out a special event that may involve multiple players to engage is acceptable, as long as you sanity check it with atleast another admin or two that are online/active. (Example: Wanting to create a scenario where a syndicate or other type antag is planning to blow up McCargo)
• Large scale admeming on Dusk in public areas involving several players is acceptable only within an hour of shift end (Example: Spawning pizzas in to throw a pizza party, giving everyone ATVs to ride around, etc)
