Announcement Now Whitelist On Web, No Discord Needed

Disabling Fork Actions

Github Actions are useful for projects to automate and run certain checks on the repo. They are not useful on forks. With that being said, you can safely disable all actions on a fork. On a fork, these wont run properly, so they even generate annoying emails with failures.

What do actions do?

For our project, the Action primarily populates and generates changelogs, and publishes server/client files to our CDN for distribution to our players and the server itself. These aren't needed on a fork.

Disabling Fork ACtions

Its recommended all contributors disable their actions.

  1. Go to your fork
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Go to "Actions > General" on the sidebar
  4. Change Action permissions to "Disable Actions"
