Discord Server Rules

1. Follow the Discord Terms of Service!

2. The server is intended for adult audiences 🔞! We do not allow under any circumstances individuals under the age of 18! If you are caught being underage you will be banned immediately and blacklisted, and we will not hesitate to inform our partnered servers as well.

• Please keep NSFW content to the appropriate channels. You should not be posting porn in general. NSFW media should be put into proper channels. If you don't know what you're allowed to post, check the channel's topic for more info. Every channel has a topic for more information on allowed posting material.
• Do not share images, locations, or personal identifying information on the server. Be safe with your personal information. Do not post lewd images of yourself. Do not share IRL pornography or revealing pictures of yourself on the server.

3. Do not start or try to instigate drama. Try not to engage in drama for the sake of drama. Do not provide ugly feedback, try to always be constructive in criticisms. Do not engage in Doxing. Doxing is a crime and you will be banned and we will not hesitate to inform our partnered servers of your activities.

4. No bashing/bullying of anyone, even individuals who may not be of our fork or community. No racist or degrading terms/content. Absolutely no slurs! Please attempt to be as respectful of LGBTQ+ terms and pronouns as well. We all have slips, don't make it a habit.

5. Do not use voice or text channels to metagame in an advantagious way. Do not have conversations about things happening in-game with other players that may provide a metagaming benefit. You are not allowed to use voice chat as in-game comms and coordination tools while you are actively playing.

• A better example of intended use might be: "oh my god, look at this super cool gun I just found" or "check out what I just made"

6. Open discussion with admins about issues is allowed and encouraged, however do not argue with Admins if afterwords a decision has been made or you'll only worsen your situation. If an Admin has disabled non-friends list PM's, don't try to add them or bother them. Stick to opening tickets to deal with administrative issues so that it can be handled in private. Do not attempt to impersonate other players or staff. Do not excessively @ staff members for attention.

7: Give everyone a chance to talk! Discussions are more fun when everyone has room to express themselves. Remember, some people may take longer to get their thoughts down than you can. So be patient.

• Do not play music over your microphone, or have conversations with other people while your microphone is on. Do not scream or peak the microphone. Do not play unpleasant or inappropriate sounds through the microphone.
• No spamming. Keep ALL CAPS in text channels to a minimum. No text walls/ascii art.

8. We are an English speaking server. Please use English in our server channels and for discussion purposes. If you find another native speaker of your language and want to conversate, please keep it short as to not derail other conversations. Feel free to take conversations in your own home language to your DM's

9. We do not allow posting of AI generated art or media. Wayfarer 14 believes most AI media has been created by scraping unauthorized material and data from artists, creatives, and content makers to then regurgitate these things into "works of arts" of uninspired sloppy garbage.

• We understand in the character profiles channel, it is important to provide reference art to help make your character have more depth. We allow a single AI art reference to be allowed in this area with a promise that it will be replaced with proper artwork at a later date. If this is ever abused or a replacement is not made, we will remove any artwork and prevent you from using the channel anymore.

10. Please no linking to another server without staff permission. Be aware of phishing links. Linking to bots without staff approval is not allowed.

11. Keep the game at arm's length! Ensure that you maintain a healthy distance from the game. Rounds go on for multiple days, do not interfere with your physical or mental health by committing to the game so heavily. Be passionate about changes made on the server and community activity, but do not let that passion commit people away.

12. Avoid false or misleading information. Make sure to fact-check any information that you share and only share reliable sources. Spreading false or misleading information can be harmful and undermines the trust and integrity of the community.
