UEGN Mantle of Dusk

The UEGN Mantle of Dusk was a Phoenix-Class colony vessel, carrying it's compliment of 3500 slumbering colonists through the galaxy towards habitable worlds. Sent from the interior worlds of Gallia and New Earth, It's mission would prove successful upon arriving in the Zekke system. Stopping roughly 25,000 light years from the federation's core worlds, this far off frontier is truly on the fringe of the galaxy. After waking all crew and decending upon Zekke-3, the colonists began work on building a new home. It would take several months of hard labor, but eventually the settlement would get off to a new start and form Port Arboris.

After the city was deemed capable of being self sufficent without need of the Mantle of Dusk, Concordia officials decided with their engineering crew that establishing a planetary outpost would be priority to begin trade connections as soon as possible back to the interior for additional supplies. Thus the mantle of dusk was launched back into orbit for it's last flight before being decommissioned in outer orbit, and then was subsequently stripped for any remaining materials and parts for the colony before being retrofitted into a new orbital station. Dusk Station thus being born as the proud sector hub for Zekkean's across the Nebulan coast.
